Kids Unplugged at Fitness Rangers!

We offer Yoga and Power Hour classes. Each child has a chance to get their energy out in a FUN and creative way all while getting a wonderful mind and body workout. Each class offers participants the opportunity to express themselves through movement and fun hands-on experiences that will contribute to a healthy lifestyle.  Each fitness and health class is designed for children in two age groups: Recruit Level (4-6-year-olds) and Core Level (6-13-year-olds).

Note: Each session has two built in water breaks AND at any point in which a participant needs to take a break, get some water, or just refocus, they are always permitted.

Fuel Right

Fuel Right is Kids Unplugged’s nutrition program. We incorporate Fuel Right into each and every fitness class. During this time, our nutritionist plays games, tells stories, and discusses the importance of fueling our bodies the right way. We introduce new terms to the kids and ask them to share their fueling habits with us.

Our Fuel Right Switch-er-oo program is a favorite. A Switch-er-oo is when kids make a healthy choice over an unhealthy choice, records it, and shares it with the KU staff. Every 10 Switch-er-oos recorded and signed by a parent is exchanged for a reward.

We know that health is largely nutrition, which is why we incorporate Fuel Right into every fitness class we give!

Power Hour

Take Power Hour with Kids Unplugged and have one of the most fun hours of your life!

This course is crafted for kids at each level. During this hour you will be doing body weight activities using every muscle group you have. Arms, legs, core, back, you name it, we will show you exercises to strengthen them all just using you and your energy – no equipment necessary!

We want to teach you how to take care of your muscles in the best way possible, so each hour will include 15 minutes of cool-down stretching and reflection.

Our one-hour yoga practice is crafted just for kids at each level.

Come join us and learn the correct positions, form, etiquette, deep-breathing techniques, and position transitions all while having fun! Each practice includes 10-15 minutes of a cool-down guided meditation practice at the end. We will teach you how to practice yoga on your own in order to stay calm and relaxed during those times of high stress.
